What you'll do

• Lead technical architecture and engineering decisions from day one
• Build and scale our personal intelligence infrastructure: personal models over time, evidence-based query systems, and pattern recognition engines
• Design zero to one systems that balance speed, reliability, and privacy-first security
• Architect data structures and retrieval systems for personality, emotions, and life metrics
• Build evidence-based answer systems that surface signals from user history
• Work directly with the CEO to define product vision and technical strategy
• Hire and build the engineering team as we scale
• Own the full stack - from infrastructure to user experience

What we're looking for

• Technical background with experience building scalable, production systems
• Deep experience with databases, data modeling, and retrieval systems (RAG, vector databases, time-series data)
• Experience with AI/ML technologies, pattern recognition, and longitudinal data analysis
• Strong understanding of privacy-first architecture, encryption, and data security
• Ability to move fast while maintaining high code quality and security standards
• Experience with building infrastructure that compounds in value over time
• Experience with building apps from scratch
• Genuine passion for personal intelligence infrastructure and willingness to commit fully to the mission
